Hurray! On March 5th I got my
acknowledgment letter from Ryerson stating that I have officially passed to the
second stage of the application process. This means they are going to
read my personal essay letter. This is so exciting because I had applied with a
mid-term mark for Chemistry and I was a little worried that it would be a
problem. I know tons of kids on high school apply to universities with mid-term
marks, but I feel the midwifery program is so full of exceptions and I had also
applied as a mature student that I was a little worried. So, now the wait
continues to see if I’m actually getting an interview. Other applicants are
saying that we probably won’t hear until the end of March. I guess this process
takes so long to test our patience ability. Just like we will have to be
patient when women are giving birth, I guess.
